Lasell's Jordan McComb posted a school-record 17 points against Norwich to take home GNAC Player of the Week honors in the season's inaugural report.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Jordan McComb, Lasell (Gr., M - Cumberland, R.I.) - McComb recorded a school-record 17 points Saturday to lead Lasell past Norwich, 23-6, in the GNAC opener for both schools. McComb finished with 10 goals and seven assists on the day, both one shy of the school records. Her 17 points eclipsed the mark of 13 points in a game, which Lasell Hall of Famer Mandi Rapisardi accomplished twice in 2006. McComb also finished with a team-high 10 draw controls and five ground balls. |

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK Nina Lestrud, St. Joseph (Conn.) (Jr., GK - Torrington, Conn.) - Lestrud has been solid between the pipes for USJ to open up the 2021 season. The junior from Torrington, Conn. has racked up a GNAC-best 20 saves to start the season and sports a 14.5 goals against average. In the 2021 season opener on March 6 versus Mitchell, Lestrud made a career-high 12 saves and posted a 60.0% save percentage in what would be a 22-8 season-opening win for the Blue Jays. She followed that up with eight saves setback to Eastern Connecticut on March 13. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Makenzie Dinger, St. Joseph (Conn.) (So., A/M - Hingham, Mass.) - Dinger has been instrumental in helping USJ get off to a 1-1 start to the 2021 season. The sophomore has tallied a total of seven points on six goals across the opening two games. In the 2021 season opener, Dinger erupted for four goals and added an assist in an eventual 22-8 triumph over Mitchell College on March 6. She followed that up with a pair of goals in a setback to a tough Eastern Connecticut program on March 13. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Dani Lydecker, Johnson & Wales (RI) (Sr., A - Valley Cottage, N.Y.) - Lydecker led the Wildcats in scoring in the season opener at Framingham State. She grabbed two goals in the opening half and closed out her hat trick in the second half. She connected on her lone free position shot and went 3-for-5 on her shots on goal. She also grabbed three draw controls for JWU.
Symantha Fazzino, St. Joseph (Conn.) (Sr., M/D - Newington, Conn.) - Fazzino had seven goals in a 1-1 week, including a six-goal output in a 22-8 season-opening victory over Mitchell.
