SJC's Lydia Dexter and CSC's Heather Hanson (pictured) took home GNAC Player and Rookie of the Week awards, respectively, for the second time in three weeks on Monday.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Lydia Dexter, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (GR, A - Oakland, Maine) - Dexter led the Monks to a pair of conference wins last week by tallying seven goals and 15 assists for 22 total points with seven ground balls and 10 draw controls in victories over Rivier and USJ. The grad student attack tied the Monks' single game records for assists (8) and points (13) in a road win over the Blue Jays on Saturday.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK Nicole Elliott, Simmons (Senior, G - Wayne, N.J.) - Elliott led Simmons to a 2-0 week, which included a 10-9 double overtime victory against neighboring rival Emmanuel on Tuesday evening. Against the Saints, Elliott registered 11 saves in 65:45 minutes in net to earn her fourth win. Late in the week, she picked up the shutout in a 20-0 victory over Anna Maria for her fifth win on the season.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Heather Hanson, Colby-Sawyer (Fr, M - Marston Mills, Mass.) - Hanson continued her stellar start to her collegiate career with a 12-point week across two key GNAC wins. On Saturday versus Dean, she scored three goals with an assist and eight ground balls before following up that performance with a career-best six goals and two more assists in a 16-7 win over Elms. The rookie added eight more ground balls against the Blazers and leads the conference with 31 through five contests.

HONOR ROLL
Katherine Raposo, Albertus Magnus (Sr., A - Warwick, R.I.) - Raposo led the Falcons last week with 10 points on six goals and four assists. She first tallied one goal and one assist in a tough non-conference matchup against Nichols on Thursday. Raposo followed that performance up with five goals and three assists against GNAC foe Rivier on Saturday.
Ashley Rufo, Anna Maria (Sr., M - Pittsfield, Mass.) - Rufo registered five goals, two assists, five ground balls and five draw controls for the AMCATS in their 14-10 loss to Lasell last Tuesday as part of an 0-2 week in GNAC play.
Sydney Stevens, Colby-Sawyer (Jr, ATT. - Laconia, N.H.) - Stevens had seven goals and seven assists for a 14-point week as the Chargers went 2-0. She started on Saturday with a career-best six-goal performance against Dean while also dishing a career-high four assists in a 17-6 win. Stevens followed it up with a goal and three assists as the Chargers rolled past Elms, 16-7.
Anna-Elise Pikul, Elms (Junior, M) - Pikul had nine goals and an assists for 10 points in a 17-14 win at Dean as part of a 1-1 week for the Blazers.
Chandra Franca, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Sr, M - Woburn, Mass.) - Franca produced nine points on eight goals and one assist to go with six ground balls in a 1-1 week of GNAC play. She scored five goals and added an assist in Saturday's 18-6 win over Regis, and also had a hat trick in a 10-9 setback against city rival Simmons.
Madeleine Gould, Johnson and Wales (RI) (Fy., A - Oakdale, Conn.) - Gould helped the Wildcats to two victories this week. She totaled nine points with six goals and two assists. Against St. Joseph (Conn.) Gould scored a hat trick while adding one assist. She converted both of her free position attempts for goals. Against Norwich, she scored her second hat trick of the week, this time totaling two assists. In the victory, Gould converted all three shots she took.
Teresa Kessner, Lasell (Sophomore, Attack - Brentwood, N.Y.) - Kessner had six goals and seven assists with six ground balls in a 2-0 week against Anna Maria and USJ, including eight points in the USJ victory.
Maddie Etherton, Norwich (Jr., A - Johnstown, N.Y.) - Etherton accounted for six points on the week, scoring three goals and three assists on the week. Against Regis Etherton picked up three ground balls and a caused turnover.
Sarah Lachance, Rivier (Fr., A - Chelmsford, Mass.) - Lachance had a 13-point week on 10 goals and three assists, including a remarkable eight-goal effort along with two assists and five ground balls on Saturday against Albertus Magnus as Rivier got its first GNAC win, 15-11. Having scored in every game of her collegiate career thus far, she also had two goals and a helper in a 20-5 setback against Saint Joseph's of Maine.
Makenzie Dinger, St. Joseph (Conn.) (Jr., A/M - Hingham, Mass.) - Dinger had a monster 17-point week coming on 16 goals and an assist for the Blue Jays across a trio of GNAC contests. Dinger opened the week with four goals in USJ's conference opener on the road at Johnson & Wales on Tuesday. She followed that up with a breakout performance netting nine goals to go along with an assist for a 10-point game on Thursday at home versus Lasell before scoring three goals at home on Saturday against Saint Joseph's (Me.). With the big week, Dinger now currently leads the GNAC in goals with 36 through seven games to start the 2022 season.
Abby Stoller, Simmons (Grad Senior, A - Wayland, Mass.) - Stoller led the Sharks to a 2-0 week, which included a 10-9 double overtime road victory over neighboring Emmanuel on Tuesday evening. Against the Saints, she registered a game-high seven goals for seven points, while scooping four ground balls, winning four draws and causing three turnovers. Additionally, she was 4-for-4 on free position attempts against the Saints. On Saturday, she tallied four goals in a convincing 20-0 win over conference foe Anna Maria, finishing the week with 11 goals, seven ground balls and eight draw controls.
