WLAX: SJC's Dexter (155 points) Voted GNAC Offensive Player of the Year
Monks senior Lydia Dexter led the way as the GNAC announced its 2022 All-Conference Teams on Monday afternoon.

WINTHROP, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced its 2022 Women's Lacrosse major awards and All-Conference Teams, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Saint Joseph's College of Maine's Lydia Dexter (pictured) was selected as the GNAC Attacker of the Year, as voted upon by the league's head coaches. Entering NCAA Tournament play after being crowned GNAC Tournament MVP, Dexter currently has 80 goals and 75 assists for 155 points.
Teammate Carson Battaglia was named the GNAC Attacker of the Year, while Emmanuel College's Delaney Brown and Johnson & Wales University's Emma Glyman were crowned the Defender and Goalkeeper of the Year, respectively.
Colby-Sawyer College first-year Heather Hanson put together a fine freshman season, totaling 49 goals and 26 assists for 75 points for the Chargers.
JWU head coach Jennifer Thomas was voted the 2022 GNAC Coach of the Year by her peers, while her Wildcats' program earned this year's Team Sportsmanship Award.
