PLAYER OF THE WEEK Lydia Dexter, Saint Joseph's (Me.) (Gr., A - Oakland, Maine) - Scored eight goals and seven assists for 15 total points along with five ground balls and four draw controls in a pair of GNAC triumphs. Notched three goals and three assists and became the Monks' all-time points leader in a win over Lasell on Wednesday and registered five goals, four assists, four ground balls, and three draw controls in a victory at Elms College on Saturday. |

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK Gianna Liquori, Elms (Jr., GK - East Longmeadow, Mass.) - Backstopped Elms to a 1-1 week with a 51.9 save percentage and a 13.64 goals-against average. Made nine saves in a victory over Albertus Magnus and stopped 19 shots against Saint Joseph's (Maine). Also recorded her 100th career save.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Colleen Stringer, St. Joseph (Conn.) (Fr., GK - Point Lookout, N.Y.) - Tallied 23 saves with a 57.5 save percentage and 8.44 goals against average in a 1-1 GNAC week for the Blue Jays. The freshman netminder opened the week by making seven saves in a heartbreaking 12-11 setback in overtime to Norwich at home on Wednesday. She followed that up by making an impressive 16 stops in a bounce-back 16-5 triumph at home over Rivier on Saturday. The victory over the Raiders improved USJ's record to 7-5 on the 2023 campaign, setting a new program record for wins in a single season. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Taylor Borla, Elms (Sr., M - Southington, Conn.) - Helped Elms to a 1-1 week in GNAC action, scoring nine goals and four assists for 13 points. Also contributed defensively with 14 draw controls, six ground balls, and three caused turnovers. Had a nine-point game against Albertus Magnus with six goals and three assists. Also had eight draw controls, three ground balls, and two caused turnovers against the Falcons. Concluded the week with three goals, one assist, six draw controls, and three ground balls in a loss to Saint Joseph's (Maine) on Saturday.
Taina Gamory, Johnson & Wales (RI) (Sr., M - Warwick, N.Y.) - Filled the stat sheet with seven goals, six draw controls, three ground balls, and three caused turnovers in a win over Emmanuel (MA) last week. Scored four times and added three helpers, bringing her season totals to 31 goals and 33 assists for 64 points.
Emma Glyman, Johnson & Wales (RI) (So., GK - Tolland, Conn.) - Recorded nine saves en route to her eighth win of the season on Wednesday against Emmanuel (Mass.).
Ashley Rufo, St. Joseph (Conn.) (Gr., M - Pittsfield, Mass.) - Scored nine goals, including her 100th career goal, and assisted on two more to record an 11-point week as the Blue Jays went 1-1 over a pair of home GNAC contests. Scooped up 16 ground balls, had six caused turnovers, and won two draw controls on the week. Opened the week with four goals and an assist during a heartbreaking 12-11 overtime setback at home versus Norwich on Wednesday. Megan Steele, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Sr., A/M - Auburn, Maine) - Recorded 11 points to pace the Emmanuel offensive unit, scoring eight goals to go along with three assists. Had a four-goal night on Monday vs. Worcester State before scoring a pair of goals in two GNAC matches this week vs. JWU and Dean. Also added one groundball for the Saints.
Sydney Stevens, Colby-Sawyer (Sr., A - Laconia, N.H.) - Had an 11 point week for the Chargers in two wins. Started off the week with a four goal and one assist performance in a 15-1 victory over Regis, before netting four more scores and adding two more assists in a 17-6 win against Lasell.
Abby Stoller, Simmons (Gr., M - Wayland, Mass.) - Helped Simmons remain perfect in GNAC action, guiding the Sharks to a 2-0 week following road victories over Rivier University and Albertus Magnus College. Midway through the week, led the Sharks with four goals and an assist for five points against the Raiders - including three goals in a 12-goal first period, while winning four draws. Added another five goals against Albertus Magnus, where she also added another assist to finish with six points.
