PLAYER OF THE WEEK Abby Stoller, Simmons (Gr., M - Wayland, Mass.) - Guided Simmons to a 2-0 week and helped the the Sharks remain one of the last two undefeated teams in GNAC action. Midway through the week, eclipsed her career single-game best, scoring nine goals - converting three of four free position shot attempts in a 19-11 win over rival Emmanuel on Wednesday afternoon. Closed out the week adding another six goals to go along with five draw controls, and two ground balls in a convincing 20-4 win over Anna Maria on the road. |

GOALKEEPER/ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Colleen Stringer, St. Joseph (Conn.) (Fr., GK - Point Lookout, N.Y.) - Helped power the Blue Jays in a pivotal 2-0 GNAC week which featured a pair of come-from-behind wins. Registered 25 saves in two full games of work between the posts on the week with a .610 save percentage and 8.00 goals against average. Opened the week by standing on her head, making 19 saves to help the Blue Jays turn a one-goal halftime deficit in to an eight-goal win, 15-7, on the road over Dean College on Wednesday. Followed that up by recording six stops as USJ once again turned a one-goal halftime deficit in to a victory, 13-9, over Colby-Sawyer at home on Senior Day.

WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Makenzie Dinger, St. Joseph (Conn.) (Sr., A/M - Hingham, Mass.) - Logged a 14-point week with eight goals and six assists to help power the Blue Jays to a pivotal 2-0 GNAC week with come-from-behind wins over Dean and Colby-Sawyer. Added 10 ground balls, seven caused turnovers, and five draw controls over the pair of contests. Opened the week with a nine-point outing, scoring six goals and assisting on three others in a 15-7 victory on the road over Dean on Wednesday. With the Blue Jays trailing the Bulldogs 5-4 at halftime, Dinger went on to factor in seven of USJ's 11 second-half goals to turn a one-point deficit in to an eight-point triumph. Followed that up with a five-point game, netting a pair of goals to go along with three assists in a big 13-9 win at home over Colby-Sawyer on Senior Day Saturday. Currently ranks second in the GNAC in goals (67) and points (85) entering the final two weeks of the regular season.
Margaret Johnson, Johnson & Wales (RI) (Sr., M - Bear, Del.) - Capped a terrific all-around week with the game-winning goal in a matchup of unbeatens on Saturday against Saint Joseph's (ME). Collected nine draw controls to go with two draw controls and one goal in a win over Albertus Magnus on Wednesday. Three days later, her third goal of the afternoon gave JWU a 10-9 lead against the Monks, against whom she also won seven draw controls, collected four ground balls, and caused a pair of turnovers.
Gianna Liquori, Elms (Jr., GK - East Longmeadow, Mass.) - Picked up two wins for the Blazers this week, making double-digit saves in both efforts. Started the week with 20 saves against Anna Maria in a 19-7 win and followed that up with 10 saves in 16-13 victory over Rivier. Compiled a 10.18 goals-against average and a 60.0 save percentage.
Kylee Marley, Regis (Mass.) (Jr., M - Westerly, R.I.) - Led the Pride to a key victory over Lasell Saturday afternoon. After scoring a goal at Saint Joseph's College Wednesday, tied her career high with six goals against the Lasers, her sixth hat trick of the season. Scored the first two goals of the match 42 seconds apart early in the first quarter. Scored 17 seconds into the third quarter to tie the match at 6-6, and then she completed the Pride's four-goal scoring run in the third quarter and started the team's six-goal scoring streak in the fourth quarter that put the match away.
Anna-Elise Pikul, Elms (Sr., M - Belchertown, Mass.) - Had a strong overall week for the Blazers, scoring 14 points in a pair over GNAC victories. Also contributed defensively with 12 ground balls, 11 draw controls, and a caused turnover. Opened the week with five goals and an assists in a 19-7 win over Anna Maria. Also had six draw controls and three ground balls against the AMCATs. Followed that up with four goals and four assists in a win over Rivier in which she also collected nine ground balls and won five draws.
Riley Wasiuk, Simmons (Sr., M - Rutland, Mass.) - Guided Simmons to a 2-0 week, which included a 19-11 midweek victory over neighboring rival Emmanuel College on Wednesday evening. Late in the week in a commanding 20-4 victory over Anna Maria, became the program's all-time leader in caused turnovers registering four against the AMCATS, while also tying her career single-game high with seven ground balls. Over the course of the week, registered nine ground balls, nine draw controls, and four caused turnovers.
