Player Of The Week
Lauren Vignola, Colby-Sawyer (So.)
Sophomore Lauren Vignola powered an undefeated week for Colby-Sawyer, totaling 14 goals and 15 points in two conference wins while shooting an exceptional 82.4% from the field. The league-leading goal scorer opened with eight goals and an assist against Regis before adding six more goals in a dominant shutout win over Dean, pushing her total to 40 on the season so far, which is top-10 in the nation.
Goalkeeper Of The Week
Julia Price, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Jr.)
Junior Julia Price turned in a strong week between the pipes for the Monks, posting a 3.00 goals-against average and a .538 save percentage across a pair of complete-game victories. She was not tested in Saint Joseph’s 18-0 win over Dean College on Tuesday and then came up big on Saturday with seven saves in a 7-6 triumph over defending GNAC champion Emmanuel College.
Rookie Of The Week
Emily Horn, Simmons (Fr.)
Freshman Emily Horn delivered a strong all-around performance for Simmons, recording 12 goals and 14 points while adding six draw controls, six ground balls, and two caused turnovers in a 2-0 week. She posted five goals and six draw controls against Albertus Magnus, then followed with seven goals and two assists in a win over Elms.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Addison Glavin, Colby-Sawyer - Glavin went 2-0 on the week and would keep the Chargers undefeated this week with another strong week in net. Addison would tally five total saves on the week and be apart of the Chargers second shut out of the year against Dean College.
Grace Joly, Colby-Sawyer - Joly would finish the week with 11 total points to help the Chargers reach 8-0 for the first time since 2022. Grace would pick up three assists over Regis to start the week before erupting for a 5 goal, 3 assist performance against Dean where she also tallied 8 draw controls. She would also grab 4 ground balls while causing five turnovers as well.
Ruby Cahill, Lasell - Cahill had 10 points on eight goals and two assists in a 2-0 GNAC week for the Lasers. Cahill netted six in a 14-9 victory over Rivier and two in a 15-10 win over USJ.
Meadow Gilchrist, New England College - Gilchrist delivered another standout performance in a 2-0 week for the Pilgrims. In Wednesday’s 12-4 win over the University of Maine – Farmington, Gilchrist totaled four goals while adding a ground ball and a caused turnover and surpassed the 200 career-point milestone. Gilchrist followed with another strong performance in Saturday’s 14-8 victory over Regis, posting six points on three goals and three assists, along with four ground balls, four caused turnovers, and four draw controls.
Caitlyn Fielder, Norwich - Fielder delivered an impactful all-around performance in Norwich’s 17-3 conference victory over Elms College, totaling six points on three goals and three assists. The senior midfielder was instrumental in controlling possession, securing six draw controls while converting on her lone free-position opportunity.
Athena Merck, Norwich - Merck powered Norwich to a dominant 17-3 GNAC victory over Elms College, finishing with six points on four goals and two assists while contributing across all areas of the field. The senior attacker placed all 10 of her shots on goal, posting a perfect shots-on-goal rate while helping lead a balanced Cadet offense that featured eight different scorers. Merck also added three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Serenity Ayala, Regis - Ayala had a dominant three-game stretch, totaling 12 points on 9 goals and 3 assists. She recorded a season-high 6 points (5G, 1A) in a win over Mitchell and followed with multiple-point efforts in all three games. Ayala added 12 draw controls, 4 ground balls, and 5 caused turnovers, showing her impact all over the field. She was also highly efficient, putting all 12 shots on goal (100% SOG).
Taylor Dumond, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Dumond totaled eight goals in a 2-0 week for the Monks and played a pivotal role in Saint Joseph’s 7-6 victory over reigning GNAC champion Emmanuel College on Saturday. In the key conference win, she scored four times — including a pair of man-down goals — and added four ground balls while helping lead the Monks to the statement victory.
