Celia Melanson, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Sr.)
Senior Celia Melanson turned in a dominant week, totaling five goals and 11 assists for 16 points while adding seven ground balls and two draw controls in a pair of conference victories. The senior starred in a decisive win over Regis on Tuesday with three goals and six assists, then followed with two goals, five assists, and five ground balls in Saturday’s 18-7 triumph over the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.).

Alexis Eldridge, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Sr.)
Senior Alexis Eldridge turned in another strong week between the pipes, posting a 5.00 goals-against average and a .565 save percentage while helping lead Saint Joseph’s to a pair of GNAC victories. The senior made three saves in Tuesday’s win over Regis and followed with seven stops in Saturday’s 18-7 triumph over USJ. Eldridge recorded the 200th save of her collegiate career in Saturday's victory and also became the first player in Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse history to reach 30 career wins.
Rookie Of The Week
Lily Hunt, Lasell (Fr.)
Freshman Lily Hunt delivered a strong three-game stretch for Lasell, totaling 12 goals and 14 points while starting all three contests in a 2-1 week. She was highly efficient offensively, posting an 85.7% shooting percentage and putting 13 of 14 shots on goal, highlighted by a seven-goal performance against Curry. In addition to her scoring, Hunt contributed across the field with five draw controls, three ground balls, and consistent possession play.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Rose Finlayson, Colby-Sawyer - Finlayson led the Chargers to a 2-0 week where she kicked off the week with four goals against Rivier on seven shots where she added nine draw controls and an 85.7 shot on goal percentage. She ended the week with five goals and three assists in the 23-0 win over Mitchell where she added eight draw controls and three caused turnovers.
Addison Glavin, Colby-Sawyer - Glavin went 2-0 on the week for the Chargers, tallying 90 minutes in the net. To kick off the week, Addison recorded eight saves with a 53.3% save percentage to keep herself second in the conference for GAA and SV PCT. She also started the 23-0 game against Mitchell and recorded two saves to help the Chargers record their third shutout of the season.
Madeline Wright, Emmanuel - Wright delivered a dominant two-game stretch, totaling nine goals and three assists for 12 points while shooting an efficient 50% overall and a strong 66.7% on goal. She exploded for seven goals and eight points in a win over Simmons and followed it up with a well-rounded performance against Lasell, adding two goals, two assists, and a free-position score.
Ruby Cahill, Lasell - Cahill put together a strong three-game week with nine goals and nine assists for 18 points in a 2-1 week, highlighted by an 8-point (3G, 5A) performance against Mitchell and a seven-point outing versus Curry. She remained an all-around contributor despite a tougher game against Emmanuel, finishing with solid shooting efficiency (69.6% SOG) while adding ground balls, draw control help, and caused turnovers.
Meadow Gilchrist, New England College - Senior Meadow Gilchrist had a standout performance in a 1-1 week for the Pilgrims, highlighted by 10 goals and four assists for 14 points along with three ground balls, two caused turnovers, and eight draw controls. Gilchrist recorded five goals, one ground ball, and four draw controls in a narrow 16-15 loss to Norwich on Tuesday and followed that with a nine-point performance behind five goals and four assists, along with two ground balls, two caused turnovers, and four draw controls in a dominant 25-2 win over Albertus Magnus on Saturday.
Caitlin Fielder, Norwich - Fielder led Norwich through a demanding 2-1 week in GNAC play, totaling 13 points on 11 goals and two assists while contributing in every phase of the game. The senior midfielder opened the week with five points in a critical 16-15 win over New England College, then added four points in the resumed conference matchup against the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) before scoring four more goals in a dominant 20-1 Senior Day victory over Dean College. Across the three contests, Fielder added 12 ground balls, 14 draw controls, and seven caused turnovers while shooting 64.7 percent and placing 15 of her 17 shots on goal. Her all-around production helped Norwich go 2-1 during one of its busiest and most important weeks of the conference season.
Colby Magoon, Norwich - Magoon delivered a strong all-around week for Norwich, totaling 10 points on eight goals and two assists over three GNAC games. She recorded four points in a crucial one-goal win over New England College, added three points in the resumed game against the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.), and posted another hat trick in Norwich’s 20-1 Senior Day victory over Dean College. In addition to her offensive production, Magoon contributed nine ground balls, seven caused turnovers, and three draw controls, giving the Cadets an impact presence on both ends of the field throughout the week.
Hayleigh Young, Rivier - Young recorded three goals for three points, adding nine ground balls, five draw controls, and eight caused turnovers. She began the week with two goals, six ground balls, and six caused turnovers and added another goal, three ground balls, five draw controls, and two caused turnovers in the 9-7 win over Simmons to clinch a playoff berth.
Emily Horn, Simmons - Horn had two straight four goal games for the Sharks on the week.
Reagan Buscetto, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Buscetto led the Blue Jays with 16 points on eight goals and eight assists during a 2–1 GNAC week. She also added five ground balls, four draw controls, and one caused turnover over the three‑game stretch. Buscetto opened the week by erupting for 11 points on five goals and six assists, while also picking up a ground ball in a dominant 23–1 home victory over Dean College on Tuesday night (4/14). She followed with five points on three goals and two assists, along with three draw controls and two ground balls, in a crucial 14–11 road victory over Norwich University on Thursday afternoon (4/16). The Montville native closed out the week with two ground balls, one draw control, and one caused turnover in an 18–7 road setback at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine on Saturday afternoon (4/18). For the week, Buscetto placed 14 of her 15 shots on goal for a 93.3% shot‑on‑goal rate and converted eight of her 15 attempts for a 53.3% shooting percentage.
Kailey Krusewski, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Krusewski helped power the Blue Jays with 12 points on eight goals and four assists during a 2–1 GNAC week. She also added four ground balls, one draw controls, and one caused turnover over the three‑game stretch. Krusewski opened the week with seven points on three goals and four assists, while also picking up two ground balls and adding a caused turnover in a dominant 23–1 home victory over Dean College on Tuesday night (4/14). She followed with two points on two goals, along with a ground ball, in a crucial 14–11 road victory over Norwich University on Thursday afternoon (4/16). The Newington native closed out the week with three points on three goals to go along with a ground ball and a draw control in an 18–7 road setback at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine on Saturday afternoon (4/18). For the week, Krusewski placed 10 of her 13 shots on goal for a 76.9% shot‑on‑goal rate and converted eight of her 13 attempts for a 61.5% shooting percentage. The rookie currently ranks third among GNAC players in goals this season with 61 through 16 games.
