Player of the Week
Kristyn Heuslein (Manchester, N.H.), Senior, Midfield, Simmons College
Kristyn Heslein scored the lone goal for the Sharks against Springfield on Tuesday. The senior midfielder scored the game winner in penalty kicks to defeat the #2 Albertus Magnus Falcons and advanced to the GNAC semifinals.

Rookie of the Week
Maggie Carey (Swampscott, Mass.), Freshman, Midfield, Emmanuel College
In her only action last week, Carey scored a huge insurance goal in Emmanuel's 3-0 GNAC Quarterfinal victory over the University of Saint Joseph (CT) in the 2013 GNAC Women's Soccer Tournament. The rookie attempted a total of three shots, landing two on frame with the final attempt finding the back of the net for her third goal of the season to help the Saints advance to the Semifinals.

Goalkeeper of the Week
Briana Hayes (Manorville, N.Y.), Sophomore, Goalie, Simmons College
Briana Hayes made 20 saves against Springfield College on Tuesday and followed with a stellar performance against the #2 seed Albertus Magnus Falcons forcing the quarterfinal match into double overtime. Hayes made several crucial saves during the penalty kicks as the Sharks advanced to the GNAC Semifinals.
