JWU's Chloe Martinez took home Week 1 Player of the Week honors as the Wildcats went 2-1, including a key victory over Babson.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Chloe Martinez, Johnson & Wales (RI) (Jr., M - Dartmouth, Mass.) - Martinez picked up five points in three matches last week, courtesy of a two-goal game in a neutral-site victory over Salve Regina. In the season-opening win against Babson, she fed a pass to Hayley Viebrock to collect her first assist of the season.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK Kim Watt, Norwich (Sr., GK - Lindenhurst, N.Y.) - Watt was superb in her first start of the season, stopping 13 of 15 shots for a .867 save percentage as she helped keep reigning GNAC finalist Saint Joseh's of Maine at bay for much of the game. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Kaelyn Briscoe, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Fr, M/F - Walpole, Mass.) - Briscoe enjoyed a strong start to her collegiate career, netting three goals for Emmanuel over two games. The first year found the back of the net in the Saints season-opener vs. Salve Regina and then scored twice including the game-winner in EC's victory over MCLA over the weekend. The first year attempted three shots on the week and scored on all three. |
