Player/Rookie Of The Week
Ayla Hathaway, Lasell (Fr.)
Freshman forward Ayla Hathaway had a standout week for the Lasers, scoring all three of the team’s goals as Lasell went 2-0 against conference opponents. She tallied two goals, including the game-winner, in a 2-0 victory over Colby-Sawyer (Sept. 30) before netting another game-winner in a 1-0 win against the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Oct. 4). On the week, Hathaway recorded 12 shots with five on target and currently leads the Lasers in goals (6) and points (12).
Goalkeeper Of The Week
Elizabeth DaSilva, Lasell (Sr.)
Senior goalkeeper Elizabeth DaSilva had a standout week in goal, recording two shutouts against conference opponents and totaling 12 saves. She made seven saves in a 2-0 win over Colby-Sawyer (Sept. 30) before adding five more in a 1-0 victory against USJ (Oct. 4). DaSilva posted a perfect 1.000 save percentage on the week and currently ranks tied for first in the GNAC in save percentage (.871) while sitting second in goals-against average (0.90).
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Kacie Consolini, Dean - Had two goals and one assist on the week for five points. Recorded a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win over Mitchell (Sept. 30) before adding another goal in a 2-1 loss to Simmons (Oct. 4). She also registered 15 shots on the week, with 11 on target.
Ciara Horan, Emmanuel - Netted two goals, including the game-winner, in the Saints’ 3-1 victory over Rivier (Oct. 4). Recorded three shots, all of which were on target.
Cassandra Roman, Mitchell - Notched two goals and one assist as the team went 1-2 on the week. Her standout performance came in a 3-0 win over Bay Path (Oct. 1), where she contributed to all three goals with two goals and an assist. She also recorded 19 shots in the game, 11 of which were on target.
Daniela Mazo, Regis - Started and played all 180 minutes in net for the Pride this week, totaling eight saves while allowing just one goal. Recorded seven saves in a 1-0 loss to Emmanuel (Sept. 30) before posting her first shutout of the season with one save in a 0-0 draw against Norwich (Oct. 3).
Erika Horne, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Helped the Blue Jays to a 1-1 week, making 11 saves while allowing just three goals. Recorded seven saves in a 3-2 win over Simmons (Oct. 1) before adding four saves and allowing only one goal in a 1-0 loss to Lasell (Oct. 4).
