Player Of The Week
Leah Morrier, Rivier (So.)
Sophomore midfielder Leah Morrier totaled eight points on four goals for the Raiders this past week as they went 2-0 in conference play. She opened the week with two goals in a 4-1 win over New England College before adding another two goals, including the game-winner, in a tight 2-1 victory against the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.). Morrier has now extended her multi-goal streak to four consecutive games and recorded 17 shots on the week, 13 of which were on target. She currently ranks second in the GNAC in goals (14), points (35), and shots on goal (38), is tied for second in assists (7), and sits third in total shots (62).
Goalkeeper Of The Week
Amy Stevens, Albertus Magnus (Sr.)
Senior goalkeeper Amy Stevens had an impressive week in net for the Falcons, helping the team go 1-0-1 in conference play while logging all 180 minutes. She opened the week with six saves in a 3-2 win over Lasell before adding another six saves in a 1-1 draw against Saint Joseph’s (Maine). This performance made her the program’s all-time leader in career saves with 318. Stevens finished the week with a .800 save percentage and currently ranks second in the GNAC in goals-against average (0.81) and fourth in save percentage (.810).
Rookie Of The Week
Ayla Hathaway, Lasell (Fr.)
First-year forward Ayla Hathaway had an impressive week for the Lasers, totaling seven points as the team went 1-1 in conference play. Hathaway shined in the win over Mitchell, recording her first collegiate hat trick, including the game-winning goal, and adding an assist for a seven point performance. She tallied 11 shots on the week, four of which were on goal. Hathaway currently ranks second in the GNAC in game-winning goals (4), is tied for fourth in points (22), and is tied for fifth in goals (10).
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Sarah Dullaghan, Emmanuel - Registered 11 points this past week, highlighted by an outstanding four-goal, three-assist performance in a win over New England College. She currently leads the GNAC in goals (16), points (39), shots (78), and shots on goal (51), while also sitting tied for second in assists (7).
Daniela Mazo, Regis - Helped the Pride to two wins this week by allowing just one goal across two matches. She made eight saves in a 2-1 victory over the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) before posting a shutout in a 1-0 win against Colby-Sawyer. She finished the week with a .889 save percentage.
Sydney Gallop, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Played a role in every goal scored by the Monks this week, tallying two goals and three assists as the team went 1-0-1. She notched a goal and three assists in a 4-1 win over Dean before adding another goal in a 1-1 draw against Albertus Magnus.
Mikaela Marie Javar, Simmons - Played one game in goal and one in the field for the Sharks this past week. In net, she made an impressive 20 saves in a 5-0 loss to defending GNAC champion Emmanuel. Later in the week against Elms, she scored one of the team’s two goals off a corner in a 4-2 defeat.
Madison Corcoran, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Posted 21 saves across two games as the team went 0-2 on the week. Recorded eight saves while allowing two goals in a close 2-1 loss to Regis, then followed with 13 saves and two goals allowed in another narrow 2-1 loss to Rivier. She currently ranks fourth in the GNAC in total saves (72).
