WSWIMDIVE: Norwich Remains Atop Women's Leaderboard On Day Two
WORCESTER, Mass. - The Norwich women's team remains at the top of the team leaderboards after day two of the 2026 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Swimming & Diving Championships with the Cadets putting up 728 points.
Norwich collected four victories including a relay victory that consisted of Delaney Allen, Deanna Parot, Maria Piekarczyk, and Alannah Kelliher. Allen captured the 100 IM while Burgan Danger captured the 50 backstroke and Reilly Laitala won the 1 Meter diving event.
University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) remained second on the day with 501 points as they were led by Sara Omar, who won the 500 yard freestyle for the Blue Jays. Simmons swam their way to third on the day with 370 points with two victories, led by Carli Quinlan, who won the 100 butterfly, as well as leading the way to a Sharks 800 freestyle relay with the quartet of Quinlan, Ainsley Horan, Laura Luthi, and Bee Eckels.
Regis followed behind in fourth with 366 points, including a 50 yard freestyle victory from Sophia Caruso. Elms finished in fifth in 220 while having a pair of podium finishes and Saint Joseph's (Maine) came in sixth with 212 points. Albertus Magnus had collected 69 points as Mia Cortes collected an individual victory in the 200 Breaststroke.
Prior to tonight's finals, both Men's and Women's senior student-athletes were recongized by institution in a senior ceremony. Women's list below:

Day three and the final day of the GNAC Championships features the next nine scoring events counting towards the GNAC title. Additionally, major award winners will be announced at the conclusion of the finals.
