Carli Quinlan, Simmons (Sr.)
Senior Carli Quinlan put together a standout performance this week, delivering two individual victories and anchoring multiple strong relay efforts. Quinlan dominated the 200-yard freestyle, winning in 1:59.82 (just tenths of a second off the pool record) before returning to take first in the 50-yard butterfly with an impressive 27.27. She also contributed key legs in both the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay, each of which earned second place overall.
Diver/Rookie Of The Week
Christina Dupre-Honda, Regis (Fr.)
Freshman Christina Dupre-Honda made an impressive debut in her first 11-dive 1-meter competition, scoring 387.60 for the top spot. The performance earned her the win by over 30 points and moved her to fourth all-time in program history.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Joni McGillis, Elms - Won the Women's 100-Yard Freestyle (58.20), finished second in the Women's 50-Yard Freestyle (26.63), and fourth in the Women's 50-Yard Butterfly (30.02). Helped the Women's 200-Yard Medley Relay to a fifth place finish at 2:12.50.
Delaney Allen, Norwich - Continued her strong debut campaign with three top-four individual finishes and critical relay contributions to pace Norwich at the North Country Invitational. The rookie standout placed third in both the 100-yard freestyle (56.18) and 200-yard freestyle (2:03.41), while adding a fourth-place showing in the 50-yard freestyle (26.07). She also featured prominently in all four top-five Cadet relays, including a third-place effort in the 200 medley relay (2:00.44) and 200 free relay (1:46.46).
Reilly Laitala, Norwich - Earned back-to-back podium finishes on the boards to lead the Cadets' diving unit at SUNY Potsdam. The senior captured third in the 1-meter dive with a score of 209.35, and matched that result in the 3-meter with a 214.50, consistently delivering under pressure against large fields in both events.
