From the top spot of the Sharks lineup, sophomore Olga Zhizhin guided Simmons to a 1-1 week, which included a come-from-behind road victory over the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Saturday. After dropping doubles, Zhizhin picked up a two-set (6-2, 6-4) win over Kathleen Gillard in first singles to lead the Sharks to a 6-0 sweep in singles as a team. |
