Rivier's O'Reilly, Trevino Receive Weekly ECAC Women's Volleyball Honors
Two Rivier women's volleyball student-athletes were lauded on Wednesday by the ECAC office.

WINTHROP, Mass. — Rivier College junior Emily O'Reilly has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Co-Player of the Week, while freshman teammate Bethany Trevino received ECAC Libero of the Week honors. The announcements were handed down Wednesday afternoon by the ECAC office.
O'Reilly helped lead Rivier to a 4-1 week and a co-championship at the Granite State Challenge. The junior setter directed the Raiders to a team .269 hitting percentage and dished out 155 assists for an average of 9.69 assists per set. She also chipped in with 16 kills, a .441 attack percentage, and 1.88 digs per set. She was at her best against Keene State with 41 helpers, and was named Co-MVP of the Granite State Challenge for her play.
O'Reilly, who received GNAC Player of the Week honors, shared the honor with Worcester State's Alyssa Jasper.
Trevino, who on Monday was named the GNAC Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week, gathered 79 digs last week for an average of 4.94 digs per set. The 5-3 libero saved her best for Keene State, scooping up 24 digs (6.00 per set) in a 3-1 win against the in-state rivals. Trevino also chipped in with 12 service aces on the week and helped Rivier to a co-championship in the Granite State Challenge.
