Rivier's Lily Blodgett averaged an impressive 4.30 kills per set on a .301 hitting percentage in a 2-1 week for the Raiders.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Lily Blodgett, Rivier (Jr., OH - Dunstable, Mass.) - Blodgett helped the Raiders to a 2-1 week, averaging 4.30 kills and 0.60 blocks per set on a .301 hitting percentage. She totaled 43 kills in just 10 sets along with six blocks. Blodgett's best match came against an undefeated Plymouth State program, where she had a match-high 19 kills in the five-set setback.

LIBERO OF THE WEEK Emily Corbett, Johnson & Wales (RI) (Jr., L/DS - Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.) - Participating in every set for the Wildcats this week, Corbett totaled 58 digs with four service aces. She averaged 4.14 digs per set, with her highest output coming against Salve Regina with 22. In two conference sweeps against Emmanuel and USJ, she totaled 23 digs, averaging 3.83 per set.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Mckenna McCool, Lasell (Fr., OH - Loomis, Calif.) - McCool averaged 3.56 kills, 3.44 digs and a whopping 2.33 service aces per set with an impressive .441 attack percentage in a 4-0 week (2-0 GNAC) for the Lasers. She recorded a triple-double Saturday in Lasell's 3-0 GNAC win over Anna Maria with 17 kills (.481 attack percentage), 16 digs and 13 service aces, which was second-most in a match in school history and one ace short of the school record. She smashed seven kills with a .481 attack percentage and added four aces and four digs as well in Saturday's GNAC win over Albertus Magnus. McCool was also good for seven kills, 10 digs and a .400 attack percentage Thursday in a non-conference home win over Bridgewater State.

Julia Rutkowski, Anna Maria (Sr., OH - Coventry, Conn.) - Rutkowski was instrumental in Anna Maria's win over Albertus Magnus on Saturday, with 18 kills and 19 digs over four sets. For the week, the senior averaged 2.57 kills and 3.57 digs per set.
Alanys Cruz Diaz, Elms (Senior, OPP) - The senior averaged 4.11 kills, 2.33 digs and 1.00 blocks oer set while hitting .382 for the Blazers in wins over Albertus Magnus and Simmons.
Kianna Lozada, Elms (Senior, L) - The senior averaged 6.00 digs per set, registering 29 in a 3-1 win over Albertus Magnus and 25 in a 3-2 win over Simmons.
Rachel Coleman, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Jr, S) - Coleman dished out 117 assists over three matches including a career-high 59 helpers in Emmanuel's 3-2 win over Salem State University. On top of running a balanced offense that averaged just under 10 assists per set, Coleman collected double-digit dig totals in all three matches with 13, 10 and 11, respectively, to average 2.60 digs per set in a two-win week for Emmanuel.
Peyton Oliver, Johnson & Wales (RI) (So., MB - Ramsey, N.J.) - Oliver totaled 40 kills in four matches this week, helping the Wildcats to two key conference victories over the Emmanuel USJ. Playing in 14 sets, she averaged 2.86 kills and 1.00 block per set with a .393 hitting percentage. In her conference matches, she averaged a .622 hitting percentage. Overall she added 12 digs, 14 blocks, and one service ace.
Sarah Farnum, Norwich (Jr., S - North Andover, Mass.) - Farnum led the pride with 76 assists on the week in nine sets, averaging 8.44 assists per set, while adding 1.56 digs per set and recording six total block assists, for 0.67 on the week. Wither her 10 attack attempts on the week the junior recorded a .300 hitting percentage on the week, while also recording a service ace.
Rita Dow, Regis (Mass.) (Jr., M - Nashua, N.H.) - Dow maintained her consistent play as Regis went 2-1 over the past week, averaging 2.80 kills per set on a stellar .563 hitting percentage. She finished with 11 kills without an attack error and two service aces against both Bridgewater State and Simmons. In the Pride's victory over Dean, she tied for the team lead with six kills, plus she collected an assist, a service ace, and four digs. In five matches so far in October, she has collected 49 kills while making just three attack errors in 87 attempts for a .529 hitting percentage. Dow now leads the conference with a .385 hitting percentage for the season.
Lily Sills, Rivier (Fr., MH - Carlisle, Mass.) - Sills averaged 2.64 kills and 1.18 blocks per set freshmen middle hitter who put together a 29 kill week with just five errors and a .453 kill percentage. She also racked up an impressive 13 blocks.
Claire Conners, Simmons (Sophomore, OH - Albany, Calif.) - Posting a .329 attack percentage, Conners guided the Shark to a 1-1 week. Early in the week, she hit .294 with 14 kills on 34 attempts in a 3-1 road win over Regis. Late in week, against Elms on the road, Conners led the Sharks with 20 kills and an outstanding .354 attack percentage, while tying her season-high in digs with three on the day.
Kat Simeonidis, Simmons (Sophomore, S - Lake Mary, Fla.) - Simeonidis guided Simmons to a 1-1 week, registering double-doubles against conference opponents Regis and Elms. Early in the week in a four-set road win over Regis, Simeonidis notched 46 assists and 15 defensive digs. Later in the week against the Blazers, she tied her season-high in assists recording 51 in a five sets, while also posted 13 digs. Her per-set averages were 10.78 assists and 3.11 digs.
