PLAYER OF THE WEEK Peyton Oliver, Johnson & Wales (Gr., H) Graduate hitter Peyton Oliver played a crucial role in leading the Wildcats to two victories this past week, including a thrilling 3-2 comeback win over Regis on Friday (Oct. 11). She kicked off the week on Tuesday (Oct. 8) with 14 kills, five digs, and two service aces in a commanding 3-0 sweep of New England College. Then, after the Wildcats found themselves down 2-0 against Regis, Oliver rallied the team with 15 kills and seven blocks, helping secure a stunning comeback victory. Oliver currently leads the GNAC in total kills (257) and ranks fourth in kills per set (3.34). |

SETTER/ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Alexandra Rivera, Regis (Fy., S) First-year setter Alexandra Rivera earns both Setter of the Week and Rookie of the Week honors after a standout performance this past week as the Pride went 1-1. On Tuesday (Oct. 8), she recorded 35 assists, five digs, one service ace, and two block assists in a thrilling 3-2 victory over Salve Regina. Rivera continued to shine on Friday (Oct. 11) against Johnson & Wales, where she set a season high record with 39 assists and also added seven digs in the match, despite the Pride narrowly falling 3-2. On the week Rivera averaged 7.40 assists per set and had 12 total digs. |

LIBERO OF THE WEEK Julia Lent, Mitchell (Jr., L) Junior libero Julia Lent picked up 55 total digs across two matches as the Mariners went 1-1 in conference play on the week. On Wednesday (Oct. 9), Lent notched 38 digs (7.60 digs per set) and one service ace in a 3-2 win over Elms. She then recorded another 17 digs in a 3-0 loss to Dean. Lent surpassed 1,000 total career digs this week, becoming the first player in program history to reach the milestone. She currently leads the GNAC in both digs (338) and digs per set (5.63). |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Anabella Driscoll, Dean - In Dean's only match of the week, the senior setter delivered an impressive performance with 33 assists (11.00 assists per set) in a 3-0 sweep over Mitchell. She also contributed two kills and four digs.
Maddy Seymour, Dean - The rookie outside hitter picked up a double-double with 13 kills and 11 digs to power Dean over Mitchell 3-0
Jaylen Holman, Elms - The junior setter picked up a double-double with 41 assists (8.20 assists per set) and 15 digs (3.00 digs per set) in a closely contested match as the Blazers fell to Mitchell 3-2.
Isabella Marquez, Emmanuel - Saints outside hitter Isabella Marquez had a strong performance in her only match of the week, recording a double-double with 34 kills (8.20 kills per set) and 12 digs in a hard-fought 3-2 loss to Rivier.
Kason Huynh, Emmanuel - Sophomore setter Kason Huynh also delivered a strong performance in a tough 3-2 loss to Rivier, recording a double-double with 45 assists (9.00 assists per set) and 10 digs.
Nevaeh Arnold, Johnson & Wales - Rookie setter Nevaeh Arnold had an impressive week, totaling 46 assists while also contributing 13 kills, 12 digs, and six blocks to help the Wildcats achieve a 2-0 record.
Avery Mola, Regis - The sophomore outside hitter showcased her skills by recording two double-doubles in a week where the Pride went 1-1. She achieved 15 kills and 12 digs in a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Salve Regina, followed by a strong performance of 14 kills and 19 digs in a close 3-2 loss to Johnson & Wales.
Victoria Briones, Saint Joseph's (Me.) - Outside hitter Victoria Briones delivered an impressive performance, securing two double-doubles over three matches as the Monks finished the week with a 2-1 record. She totaled 36 kills, eight assists, and 49 digs across the three matches.
