Player Of The Week
Alysha Izquierdo, Elms (Sr.)
Senior Alysha Izquierdo put together a strong week for Elms, totaling 43 kills over four matches, averaging 3.31 kills per set, highlighted by a 20-kill performance in a 3-1 win over Mass. Maritime. The senior also contributed six service aces, 37 digs, and one block, finishing with 49.5 total points at a 3.81 points-per-set pace. She collected two double-doubles in the Blazers' wins over Mass Maritime (20 kills, 12 digs) and Fitchburg State (11 kills, 17 digs).
Libero Of The Week
Alyssa Dugas, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (So.)
Sophomore Alyssa Dugas anchored the USJ defense during a 2-1 week, totaling 72 digs for an average of 7.20 per set. She opened with 42 digs in a 3-1 victory at Fitchburg State before adding 16 against Curry and 14 against Sarah Lawrence to close out the week.
Setter Of The Week
Jaylen Holman, Elms (Sr.)
Senior Jaylen Holman directed the offense for Elms during a 3-1 week, handing out 87 assists for an average of 6.69 per set. She posted a week-high 37 assists in a 3-1 win over Mass. Maritime and added 20 more in a sweep of Fitchburg State. Along the way, she surpassed 2,000 career assists during the Mass. Maritime match. She also contributed eight kills, 43 digs, three block assists, and 11 service aces on the week.
Rookie Of The Week
Eva Catalanotto, Regis (Fr.)
Freshman Eva Catalanotto had a standout weekend for the Pride, registering 17 kills on a .481 hitting percentage in GNAC play. She recorded 10 kills against Simmons before adding seven more on a .778 attack percentage in a sweep of Mitchell. Over three matches, the first-year totaled 18 kills, four digs, two blocks, and 25.5 points, averaging 2.5 points per set.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Alyssa Moore, Elms - Moore anchored the back row over three matches, finishing with 49 digs (5.44 per set) and a .917 reception percentage. She tallied a season-best 27 digs in the win over Mass. Maritime and added 12 more in the sweep of Fitchburg State.
Sydney Katz, Lasell - Katz set the tone offensively, dishing out 46 assists across two matches (7.67 per set) while adding 12 digs and four block assists. She also chipped in two kills on a .200 hitting percentage.
Julia Lent, Mitchell - Lent averaged 4.57 digs per set over three matches while maintaining an impressive .976 reception percentage (42 attempts, just one error). Lent was particularly effective in GNAC play, posting 5.00 digs per set across league matches against Simmons and Regis. In total, the senior finished the week with 32 digs, 26 service receptions, and five assists, while also contributing four service aces.
Grace Fabiano, Regis - Fabiano powered the Pride to a 2-0 GNAC weekend, totaling 20 kills on a .405 hitting percentage across seven sets. She posted 11 kills with a .524 clip in the sweep of Mitchell and added nine more against Simmons, finishing the week with 23 kills, seven blocks, and 27.0 points over three matches. She also added four blocks in the Pride's victory over Mitchell.
Alexandra Rivera, Regis - Rivera directed the Pride offense in a 2-0 GNAC weekend, dishing out 70 assists across seven sets for a 10.00 assists-per-set average in conference play. She tallied 35 assists in each win, adding 10 digs and a block along the way. For the week, she totaled 84 assists, 13 digs, and 4.5 points over three matches.
Lily Seibel, Rivier - Seibel ran a balanced offense across four matches, handing out 89 assists (6.36 per set) to go with 29 digs and 14 kills on a .229 hitting percentage. Her top outing came in the win at Emerson, where she posted 35 assists, 11 digs, and five kills.
Hannah Pridgeon, Simmons - Pridgeon powered the attack with 42 kills over three matches, averaging 4.20 per set while hitting .222. She added 23 digs, three service aces, and a block assist.
