Player Of The Week
Grace Fabiano, Regis (Jr.)
Junior Grace Fabiano was a dominant force at the net for the Pride, leading them to a perfect 3-0 week with outstanding two-way play. The junior middle totaled 28 kills (2.55/set) on an efficient .339 hitting percentage while adding 12 total blocks (1.09/set) and nine digs across 11 sets. She opened the week strong with nine kills and five blocks in a sweep of Elms, then followed with another nine kills and three blocks at Rutgers-Newark, hitting .368. Fabiano capped the trip with 10 kills, four blocks, and a .280 hitting clip in a five-set win over John Jay, anchoring both the offense and defense in a flawless road stretch for the Pride.
Libero Of The Week
Madison Sinatro, Colby-Sawyer (So.)
Sophomore Madison Sinatro anchored the Chargers’ back row during a 3-1 week, turning in an exceptional defensive effort. The sophomore libero tallied 65 digs (4.64/set) and committed only four reception errors across four matches, showcasing her consistency and control in serve receive. She posted double-digit digs in every contest, highlighted by a career-best 29 in a 3-1 win over Western New England. Sinatro also added seven assists and four aces on the week, continuing to be the steady presence driving the Chargers’ defensive success.
Setter Of The Week
Alexandra Rivera, Regis (So.)
Sophomore Alexandra Rivera was the driving force behind Regis’ perfect 3-0 week, orchestrating the Pride offense with precision and poise. The sophomore setter totaled 102 assists (9.27/set) to go along with 21 digs and a block across 11 sets. She opened the week with 30 assists and four digs in a sweep of Elms, followed with 29 assists and five digs in another 3-0 win at Rutgers-Newark, and capped the trip with a career-best 43 assists, 12 digs, and a service ace in a five-set victory at John Jay. The standout performance also marked a career milestone, as Rivera surpassed 1,000 assists for her career while continuing to lead one of the conference’s most balanced attacks.
Rookie Of The Week
Eva Catalanotto, Regis (Fr.)
First-year standout Eva Catalanotto played a pivotal role in Regis’ perfect 3-0 week, showcasing impressive consistency and versatility. The rookie tallied 27 kills (2.7/set) on a stellar .305 hitting percentage while adding seven blocks, seven digs, and four service aces for 35 total points (3.5/set). She hit .474 with 10 kills and two blocks in a sweep at Rutgers-Newark, then capped the weekend with 12 kills, three blocks, and four aces in a five-set win at John Jay—continuing her strong debut season for the Pride.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Bree Bacon, Colby-Sawyer - Bacon was the catalyst behind the Chargers’ 3-1 week, directing the offense with precision and consistency. She totaled 110 assists (7.86/set) across four matches, surpassing 30 assists in two of them, while also contributing 40 digs and 12.5 points. Bacon’s leadership and steady playmaking kept the Chargers’ attack balanced and efficient throughout the week.
Kamryn Brakemeier, Colby-Sawyer - Brakemeier powered the Chargers to a 3-1 week with an impressive offensive showing, leading the team with 44 kills (3.14/set) on a .275 hitting percentage. The sophomore standout also added 26 digs, seven total blocks, and five service aces for 53.5 total points. She was at her best in the sweep of Mass. Maritime, posting a season-high 17 kills and three blocks, while contributing 13 kills at Western New England and eight more in a win over Anna Maria. Brakemeier’s steady production and dominance at the net fueled the Chargers’ successful week.
Addison Sasnett, Colby-Sawyer - Sasnett was a driving force in the Chargers’ 3-1 week, contributing on both sides of the ball with 30 kills, 42 digs, and 31.5 total points. The freshman outside hitter posted a hitting percentage as high as .500 and averaged 2.5 kills and 3.5 digs per set, highlighted by an 11-kill, 20-dig performance in a sweep of Mass. Maritime.
Gwen Arnold, Regis - Arnold anchored the Pride’s back row during a perfect 3-0 week, showcasing poise and consistency well beyond her freshman status. The defensive specialist totaled 38 digs (3.45/set), eight assists, and 50 successful receptions with an .880 reception percentage. She opened the week with 10 digs and four aces at Elms, added another 10 digs at Rutgers-Newark, and closed with a standout 18-dig, 27-reception performance in a five-set win over John Jay. Arnold’s steady defense and reliable serve-receive were key to the Pride’s unbeaten road stretch.
Lily Seibel, Rivier - Seibel totaled 77 assists (7.70/set) and 47 digs (4.70/set) across three matches. She opened with a double-double of 14 assists and 11 digs against Plymouth State before shining in conference play — posting 32 assists and 19 digs in a 3-1 win over Colby-Sawyer, then following with 31 assists and 17 digs in a sweep of Mass. Maritime. Her steady setting and defensive consistency were key to the Raiders’ 2-1 week.
Victoria Briones, Saint Joseph's (Me.)- Briones delivered an outstanding all-around performance to lead the Monks to a 2-1 week, posting 38 kills (3.8/set) on a .306 hitting percentage, six service aces, and 31 digs across 10 sets. The senior captain opened the week strong with 11 kills, two aces, and six digs in a sweep of Southern Maine before adding another 11 kills, nine digs, and a .471 attack clip in a conference win over Saint Joseph (Conn.). She capped the stretch with a dominant showing against Framingham State, recording 16 kills, three aces, and 16 digs. Briones’ steady leadership and offensive firepower were central to the Monks’ success on both sides of the ball.
