Player Of The Week
Letitia Bossou, Emmanuel (Mass.) (So.)
Sophomore Letitia Bossou powered the Saints to a perfect 4-0 week with a dominant offensive showing, leading the team with 55 kills while hitting an impressive .310 overall. The junior averaged 3.24 kills per set and added eight total blocks and seven digs across 17 sets of play. She was at her best in conference action, tallying 40 kills on a .290 hitting percentage over three GNAC victories. Highlights included a 16-kill performance on .600 hitting at Dean and a 13-kill, four-block outing at University of Saint Joseph (Conn.). Her consistency and efficiency at the net helped fuel the Saints’ continued success in both non-conference and league play.
Libero Of The Week
Scheala Nielsen, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Jr.)
Junior Scheala Nielsen anchored the Saints’ back row in a 4-0 week, playing a pivotal role in Emmanuel’s defensive dominance. The junior libero averaged an impressive 4.53 digs per set across 15 sets, totaling 68 digs while maintaining a strong .882 reception percentage on 68 attempts. She also contributed 10 assists and four service aces, showcasing her all-around impact on the court. In conference play, she posted 3.45 digs per set and remained a steady presence in serve receive, helping the Saints extend their win streak with key road victories over Lasell, Dean, and USJ. Her consistency and leadership in the backcourt were instrumental to Emmanuel’s undefeated week.
Setter Of The Week
Kason Huynh, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Jr.)
Junior Kason Huynh was the driving force behind a perfect 4-0 week for Emmanuel, delivering a complete all-around performance on both sides of the ball. The setter tallied an impressive 101 assists (5.94 per set) to go along with 21 kills, 34 digs, and 12 total blocks across 17 sets of action. She opened the week with back-to-back five-set victories over Lasell and Framingham State, recording 61 assists and 21 digs over those matches, before closing out with dominant GNAC wins at Dean and USJ, where she added 40 assists, 11 kills, and nine digs. Her consistency and leadership helped the Saints extend their momentum in conference play.
Rookie Of The Week
Beatriz Paulo, Regis (Mass.) (Fr.)
Paulo made an immediate impact in Regis’ 3-0 conference victory over Dean, delivering an efficient and dynamic performance on both sides of the net. The standout attacker tallied seven kills on 12 swings for a stellar .500 hitting percentage, while also contributing three digs and a block in just two sets of action. Her dominant showing helped fuel the Pride’s sweep, finishing the match with 10.5 total points and showcasing her ability to be a consistent offensive threat for Regis.
Weekly Honor Roll
Jaylen Holman, Elms - Showcased steady leadership for Elms, averaging 6.5 assists and 3.9 digs per set across four matches. She dished out a week-high 38 assists with 25 digs in a tight five-set battle against New England College, while also contributing offensively with eight kills and a .206 hitting percentage. Her balanced play kept the Lions competitive throughout the week.
Morgan Bogli, Lasell - Bogli fueled the Lasers offense in GNAC play, tallying 30 kills (3.75 per set) while hitting .234 across two matches. She posted 16 kills on a .464 clip in a sweep of Colby-Sawyer and added 14 kills with three blocks against Emmanuel for a dominant all-around week.
Kristina Cardello, New England College- Cardello anchored the NEC defense with 64 digs (5.33 per set) across four matches, adding 17 assists and two aces to lead the Pilgrims’ back row efforts.
Tyra Kelly, New England College- Kelly powered the Pilgrims to a 2-2 week with 27 kills on a sharp .323 hitting percentage, while adding 13.0 total blocks to dominate at the net on both sides of play.
Callie Nanos, Rivier - Nanos powered the Raiders to a 2-1 GNAC week, averaging 3.30 kills per set while hitting an impressive .431. She recorded a career-high 14 kills and three blocks in the sweep of Simmons, added 12 kills against Saint Joseph’s (Me.), and hit .778 with seven kills in a win over Norwich, totaling 37.5 points for the week.
Lily Seibel, Rivier - Was a force for the Raiders, totaling 72 assists, 35 digs, and 17 kills with a .326 hitting percentage in a 2-1 GNAC week. She posted a career-high 26 digs against Saint Joseph’s (Maine) and added seven kills on a .429 clip in a sweep of Norwich.
