GNAC Men's Golf Report: Week 2
JWU rookie Nico Ciolino swept the awards in Week 2 after shooting a 71-76--147 to finish 13th in the Duke Nelson Invitational.

GOLFER / ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Nico Ciolino, Johnson & Wales (Fr., Marlborough, Mass.) - In his first tournament of his collegiate career, Ciolino guided JWU to a seventh-place finish, firing a two-day total of 147 (71-76) to tie for 13th at the Duke Nelson Invitational. On the first day of the tournament, Ciolino turned in a scorecard of even par with the help of five birdies, including three on the back nine. Additionally, Ciolino tamed the par fives, finishing two-under on the par fives. He led the 118-player field with seven birdies overall.

WEEK 2 HONOR ROLL
Ryan Sember, Albertus Magnus (Jr., Branford, Conn.) - For the second consecutive event, Sember led the way for the Albertus men's golf team, earning medalist honors in a non-conference dual-match against Mount Saint Vincent. The junior transfer carded a 77 (+6). Sember was 25 strokes clear of his closest teammate to keep the Falcons within 10 strokes in a 373-382 setback.
