OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Jan Baranowski, Lasell (Junior, Middle Blocker - Wheeling, Ill.) - Baranowski averaged 3.14 kills on an absurd .700 hitting percentage in a 2-0 week for the Lasers. He tallied career-highs of 11 kills in victories over Elms and Elizabethtown on Saturday, registering just one error. He also had five block assists in the tri-match to average 0.71 per set.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Josh Nolen, Regis (Mass.) (Jr., M - Falls Church, Va.) - Nolen was a force at the net for the Pride in two road matches, averaging 1.33 blocks per set. In Wednesday's 3-2 victory at Nichols, he collected a career-high eight total blocks, including five in the fourth and fifth sets as the Pride rallied from a 2-1 match deficit. He also finished with a season-high 12 kills and tied his career high with three digs against the Bison. On Friday at Kean, he earned three solo blocks and one block assist to go along with five kills. Nolen now leads the team in total blocks with 41 and is fifth in the GNAC in blocks per set at 0.87.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Jordan Shinaut, Lasell (Freshman, Opposite - Peoria, Ariz.) - Shinaut averaged 4.67 kills, 0. 43 aces, 1.71 digs and 1.14 blocks per set while hitting .467 in a 2-0 week fo the Lasers. He recorded a career-high 17 kills in a GNAC win over Elms Saturday. During the victory over Elizabethtown Saturday, he finished with career-bests of seven total blocks and six block assists.

HONOR ROLL
Matt Ferrara, Regis (Mass.) (Sr., OH - Sandown, N.H.) - Ferrara averaged 2.67 kills and 1.67 digs per set in a 1-1 week. On Wednesday night at Nichols, he finished with a team-high 15 kills as he hit .314 in the match, plus he earned two service aces, five digs, and two block assists. Ferrara was a perfect 5-for-5 in attack attempts in the fourth set to help the Pride even the contest at 2-2 to force the deciding fifth set. He nearly notched a double-double Friday night at Kean, finishing with nine kills and 10 digs, and is now tied for sixth in the GNAC in total kills with 118.
Connor Adams, Wentworth (Sr., S - Budd Lake, N.J.) - Adams averaged 9.29 assists, 1.14 service aces and 1.14 digs per per set in a 1-1 week for the Leopards, registering 34 assists and five aces in a four-set loss on the road to #1 Springfield before totaling 31 helpers in a 3-1 GNAC win over Colby-Sawyer.
