UNE's Annika Doeppers won two individual events and was part of two relay wins at Maine Maritime to capture Women's Rookie of the Week honors.

MEN'S ATHLETE / ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Ben Stark, Norwich (Fr., Montverde, Fla.) - At this weekend's North Country Invitational hosted by SUNY Potsdam, Stark continued his torrid start to the season, winning the men's 500-yard freestyle in 5:01.92. He beat out 12 other swimmers for the win. He also swam the first leg on the second place 200-yard freestyle relay team (1:32.94). On Sunday, Stark won the men's 400-yard IM in 4:27.71. Stark also finished second in the men's 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:48.41. He also swam a leg on the second place 400-yard freestyle relay team (3:18.67). |

WOMEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Meg Driscoll, Simmons (Jr., Haverhill, Mass.) - Driscoll posted a personal-best and season-top time in the 200-yard breaststroke in Saturday's inter-division dual meet with Merrimack. Driscoll touched the wall with a time of 2:38.84, clipping one second off her previous top time (2:39.27) to finish first in the event. She also swam the second leg of Simmons' 400 medley relay A squad that finished with a time of 4:27.12. |

WOMEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Annika Doeppers, Univ. of New England (Fr., Madison, Wis.) - Doeppers won two individual events and was part of two relay wins at Maine Maritime. Both relays clocked pool records (by 3.00 and 11.31). Individually, Doeppers edged out Ellie Gellerson of MMA in the 50 breaststroke (35.03; +0.86), and notched a pool record in the 500 freestyle (5:46.78) by 14.22 seconds |

Haley Griffin, Univ. of New England (Sr., Ava, N.Y.) - Griffin won two individual events and was part of two relay wins at Maine Maritime. On her own, Griffin touched the wall first in the 100 backstroke (1:06.77) and the 100 freestyle (59.32). Both relays clocked pool records (by 3.00 and 11.31), and Griffin's 100 backstroke lead-off leg of the 400 medley (1:06.18) was also a pool record by nearly two seconds.
Riley Aptt, Regis (Fr., Woburn, Mass.) - Aptt collected three individual victories and was part of a relay win as Regis defeated Saint Joseph's in a dual meet Saturday. Aptt cruised to victory in the 1000 freestyle in 12:13.09, followed by a close win in the 100 butterfly by 13/100ths of a second with a time of 1:05.41. After winning the 500 freestyle by over six seconds in 5:52.81, Aptt posted a 50 free split of 27.20 seconds during the third leg of the 200 freestyle relay as the Pride came from behind to clinch the event victory
Kyleigh Boatwright, Regis (Sr., Roseville, Calif.) - Boatwright led the Pride women to a dual meet victory over Saint Joseph's on Saturday afternoon, starting with the leadoff 100 backstroke leg (1:07.98) of the victorious 400 medley relay. Boatwright won the 50 backstroke in 30.82 seconds, the 200 backstroke by almost eight full seconds with a time of 2:22.60, and the 50 butterfly with a season-best time of 29.21 seconds.
Sam Madriz, Regis (So., Union, N.J.) - Madriz continued his first collegiate competition season with a solid performance in Saturday's dual meet at Saint Joseph's College. He won the 100 butterfly by exactly nine seconds with a time of 59.54 seconds, followed by a second place finish behind teammate Brendan Pike in the 100 freestyle with a season-best time of 55.39 seconds. Madriz won the 50 butterfly in 27.07 seconds, and then he took the lead for the Pride during the second leg of the 200 freestyle relay with a 50 free split of 24.42 seconds, the second-fastest in the event
Brendan Pike, Regis (Sr., Weymouth, Mass.) - Pike won all three individual events he competed in, plus he anchored the 200 freestyle relay to victory. Pike finished first in the 1000 freestyle by almost 20 full seconds with a time of 11:07.89. He also touched the wall first in the 100 freestyle in 52.72 seconds and in the 200 individual medley in 2:14.61. Pike posted a 50 free split of 24.26 seconds, the fastest of any competitor in the event, to help the Pride to a six-second victory in the 200 freestyle relay
