GNAC Men's Golf Report: Week 3
For the second straight week, JWU freshman Nico Ciolino has captured GNAC Golfer and Rookie of the Week accolades.

GOLFER / ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Nico Ciolino, Johnson & Wales (Fr., Marlborough, Mass.) The first-year Ciolino turned in a two-day total of 148 (78-70) at the premier Willliams Fall Invitational to place 12th overall. After carding a 78 on Saturday, the Marlborough, Mass. native saw the greatest improvement of anyone in the 129-player field. Ciolino climbed 39 spots on the leaderboard by firing a one-under par 71 on the second day which included opening with two birdies on the first three holes and registering 14 straight pars to end the round. |
WEEK 3 HONOR ROLL
Ryan Sember, Albertus Magnus (Jr., Branford, Conn.) - Sember finished tied for third place in the 42-person field at the Brett Williamson Invitational on Thursday with a personal-best score of 75 (+4). Sember continued his stellar start to the 2019 campaign, as he has led the Falcons in every round played this season. The junior has carded a sub-80 score in all three rounds he has played with Albertus Magnus.
