GNAC Men's Soccer Report: Week 4
USJ midifielder Joel Agbetossou tallied three goals in a 2-0 week of GNAC play for the Blue Jays to net weekly honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Joel Agbetossou, St. Joseph (Conn.) (Jr., M - Hartford, Conn.) - Agbetossou had a breakout week for USJ and helped lead the Blue Jays to a perfect 2-0-0 record on the week with a pair of GNAC road victories. The 5-6 junior out of Hartford registered a six-point week with three goals, including a game-winning goal. Agbetossou found the back of the net twice on Wednesday at Lasell in a 6-2 triumph, including netting the game-winner in the 19th minute. He later added another first-half goal in the 28th minute to register his first career multi-goal game. Then on Saturday at Elms with the Blue Jays trailing early in the first half, Agbetossou tied the match in the 20th minute for his third marker of the week and propelled the Blue Jays to a 3-1 victory over the Blazers.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK Vincent Conelli, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Sr, GK - West Hartford, Conn.) - Conelli opened the week making six saves in a 0-0 draw vs. Curry to preserve the shutout before making four saves against Saint Joseph's College. The senior held the Monks scoreless through 87 minutes of action before SJM evened the score late in the game before pulling prevailing in 2OT but Conelli was strong in net on the week posting a 0.85 GAA and an .833 save percentage.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Luis Agudelo, Albertus Magnus (Fr., M - East Haven, Conn.) - Agudelo was outstanding this past week, tallying his first career points against Brooklyn College on Sept. 22. The rookie midfielder scored twice against the Bulldogs, which included the game-winner, for four total points to guide Albertus to a convincing 4-1 victory. Agudelo also appeared in the Falcons' 1-0 shutout victory versus Rivier on Saturday, Sept. 25.

HONOR ROLL
Rubelsi Moran, Anna Maria (Fr., M - Holden, Mass,) - Moran scored one goal and assisted on another in Anna Maria's heartbreaking 3-2 loss to Worcester State this past week. He continued to stay active in the AMCATS' 3-1 win at Dean on Sunday, with four shots on the day. The rookie standout is currently second on the team in goals, points and assists.
