OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK David Smith, Rivier (Gr., OH - Clinton, Ohio) - In a 4-0 week for the Raiders, Smith averaged 4.62 kills, 0.85 service aces, 1.85 digs and 0.77 blocks per set while posting a .402 hitting percentage. He tallied 60 kills in four matches, led the squad defensively with 24 digs, while committing just 17 errors on 107 total attempts. He capped the week against Nichols with 25 kills (4.09/set) in the five-set victory, eclipsing the 1,000-kill mark for his career in the process.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Brenden Joyce, Lasell (Junior, Outside Hitter/Opposite - Randolph, Mass) - Joyce averaged 3.71 kills on a .373 percentage to go with 0.86 blocks per set in a 1-1 week. He tied a career-high with five total blocks and set a personal-best mark of two solo blocks in a key win over No. 1 Springfield on Tuesday evening.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Jordan Shinaut, Lasell (Freshman, Opposite - Peoria, Ariz.) - Shinaut averaged 3.14 kills, 0.57 service aces, 1.14 digs and 0.43 blocks per set in a 1-1 week, as the Lasers had an impressive home win over No. 1 Springfield before falling to GNAC rival Wentworth on the road in league play.

HONOR ROLL
Isaac Davies, Colby-Sawyer (Fr, L - Hinesburg, Vt.) - Davies ended the 1-2 week with 19 kills and hitting at an outstanding .417. Davies also notched eight service aces, five digs and a pair of blocks.
Jake Kelley, Dean (Jr, MH - Westminster, Mass.) - Kelley led the Bulldogs to their first win of the season with a 3-0 defeat of Lesley. He posted a game best seven kills on .545 hitting to go with four aces and three digs.
Alex Weinhaus, Lasell (Freshman, Libero - Smithtown, N.Y.) - Weinhaus tied a career-high with 13 digs at No. 12 Wentworth Thursday, averaging 3.29 per set on the week.
