MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Cole Anderson, Regis (Mass.) (So., Falmouth, Maine) Anderson broke a school record and qualified for the Division III New England Championships at the Eastern Connecticut State Invitational Friday. He finished second in the discus throw with a top mark of 40.30 meters (132' 3"), 0.30 meters further than the previous standard he set last year. Anderson also finished third in the hammer throw at 38.80 meters (127' 3") and 13th in the shot put at 11.01 meters (36' 1.5"). |

WOMEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Fatima St. Hilaire, Regis (Mass.) (Sr., Dorchester, Mass.) St. Hilaire broke two school records and won two events outright at the Eastern Connecticut State Invitational Friday. For the fourth straight week, she lowered her school record time in the 100 meter dash, this time by 0.37 seconds as she posted a mark of 12.31 seconds, finishing second overall and first among collegiate competitors. As of April 20, St. Hilaire is now 27th in the Division III performance list in the 100 meter dash with that time. She also broke the school record in the 200 meter dash by 0.33 seconds with a time of 27.11 seconds, finishing fourth in that event. She won the long jump with a mark of 5.63 meters (18' 5.75") and the triple jump at 11.14 meters (36' 6.75"). |

MEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Troy Hendricks, Saint Joseph's (Me.) (Fr., Hiram, Maine) Hendricks broke the Monks' 1500-Meter run record by six seconds with a 4:16.30 time in the Maine State Championship at Bowdoin College on Saturday. |

WOMEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Allison Rodrigues, Suffolk (Fr., North Andover, Mass.) At MIT's Sean Collier Invitational Saturday, won the shot put and qualified for the New England Championships with a throw of 11.39 meters to top the 26-competitor field. Took third (out of 20) in the discus, throwing 32.64 meters and finished fourth (out of 20) in the javelin with a toss of 32.98 meters. |
WEEK 5 HONOR ROLL
Amanda Martin, Colby-Sawyer (Sr., Amesbury, Mass.) - At Saturday's Sean Collier Invitational hosted by MIT, senior Amanda Martin achieved a school record mark of 11.02 meters in the triple jump to beat her previous record of 10.80 meters. She finished third in the event out of 19 competitors. Martin had already qualified for the New England Championships two weeks earlier, but improved her standing with today's mark. Martin also placed 14th out of 39 in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.19.
Ben Lane, Lasell (Sr., Rutland, Vt.) - Lane lowered his own school record in the 100 meter dash and posted two fourth-place finshes at the Sean Collier Invitational at MIT. He placed fourth among 29 sprinters in the 100 and fourth among 26 in the 200. He finished the 100 in 11.24 seconds, lowering the school standard of 11.34 he set two weeks ago at Regis College, and ran a season-best 22.74 seconds in the 200 meters. Lane has already qualified for the Division III New England Championships in the 200, which takes place next month at Williams College.
Alahna Mild, Lasell (Fr., Bar Harbor, Maine) - Posted a pair of best times in the 100 and 200-meter dashes at the Sean Collier Invitational at MIT. She ran the 100 in 13.93 seconds to place 18th out of 31 racers and finished the 200 in 29.52 seconds to place 28th out of 39.
Ashleigh Kelley, Regis (Mass.) (Fr., Stoneham, Mass.) - Kelley broke a school record as she competed in the Eastern Connecticut State Invitational Friday. She broke the school record in the 1500 meter run by 0.19 seconds with a time of 5:06.54, finishing second in the event. She also finished fifth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:36.95.
Nicholas Pastore, Regis (Mass.) (Fr., Norwood, Mass.) - Pastore participated in three events Friday at the Eastern Connecticut State Invitational. His best placement came in the 400 meter dash, where he finished in fifth place with a time of 54.13 seconds. In the 200 meter dash, Pastore finished in 12th place in 24.06 seconds. He also competed in the triple jump for the first time in his collegiate career and ended up in 10th place with a top leap of 10.87 meters (35' 8").
Lance Santeusanio III, Saint Joseph's (Me.) (So., North Berwick, Maine) - Santeusanio finished sixth in the 400-Meter hurdles (1:01.94), seventh in the high jump (1.85m) and 10th in the long jump (5.83m) at the Maine State Championship at Bowdoin College on Saturday. His 400-Meter hurdles time broke the Monks' record (second-oldest top mark in team history) by over two seconds.
Maytas Csiki-Fejer, Suffolk (Fr., St. Louis, Miss.) - Csiki-Fejer highlighted the 13 Rams' student-athletes at MIT's Sean Collier Invitational Saturday. The freshman from Saint Louis, Missouri, ran a 1:58.57 800-meter dash to claim seventh in the 41-runner field.
Emily Manfra, Suffolk (Jr., Stoneham, Mass.) - Punched her ticket to the New England Championships in the mile at Northeastern's Jay Carissella Coaches Invitational Saturday. In a field, which was made up majority of Division I athletes, Manfra claimed second out of 20 runners with a time of 4:38.40.
