JWU's Hunter DiLorenzo tied for fifth overall at the 85th annual NEIGA Tournament in Brewster, Mass. to help guide the Wildcats to a program-best second overall team finish

GOLFER OF THE WEEK Hunter DiLorenzo, Johnson & Wales (RI) (Jr., Boxborough, Mass.) DiLorenzo guided Johnson & Wales to a second-place team finish at the 85th New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Division III Championship by firing a two-day score of 150. After carding a 79 on Sunday, DiLorenzo responded on day two, registering three birdies on the back nine to turn in a scorecard of a one-under 71. Overall, DiLorenzo led the 113-player field on all the par threes, finishing even, while also leading the pack with 25 pars over the two-day tournament. He shot up 21 spots on day two to finish tied for fifth with JWU teammates Alex Parente and Matt Daley. |
