Rivier first-year guard Lyric Grumblatt went off for 41 points and 15 rebounds in a 75-64 road victory against Anna Maria over the weekend.

PLAYER / ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Lyric Grumblatt, Rivier (So., G - Manchester, N.H.) - Grumblatt had a career day on Saturday against Anna Maria, pouring in 41 points on 12-of-22 shooting, including 4-of-9 from three and 13-of-14 from the FT line, to go with 15 rebounds and three blocks in a 75-64 road victory. She played all 40 minutes in the win for the Raiders and currently leads the GNAC in scoring at 26.4 points per game while shooting 45/42/83.

Jakara Murray-Leach, Albertus Magnus (Fr., G/F - Norwalk, Conn.) - Murray-Leach helped lead the Falcons to a 1-1 week by averaging 20.0 points and 4.0 rebounds\while shooting 38.1% from the floor (16-42). The rookie began the week tallying 22 points, six rebounds, three steals, and an assist across just 28 minutes of action in the Falcons' win over Lasell. Murray-Leach then posted 18 points, two rebounds, two blocks, a steal, and an assist in the Falcons 72-60 setback to the Saints.
Franchesca Hammond, Anna Maria (Sr., G - Worcester, Mass.) - Hammond scored a career-high 32 points as the AMCATS' rally against Rivier came up just short on Saturday, leading Anna Maria back from 19 down to within seven. The team captain went 5-of-10 from behind the arc and tallied six rebounds and two assists in a superb effort that saw her play all 40 minutes.
Marinique Reddin, Anna Maria (Fr., F - Tampa, Fla.) - Reddin would recover from a slow start on Saturday against River, scoring 15 points while pulling down a team-high nine boards and tallying a career-high five steals for the AMCATS.
Aiyanalee Lopez, Elms (First Year, G) - Lopez had 17 points and 10 rebounds on 6-of-11 shooting in a 64-60 win over USJ.
Angelica Peguero-Flores, Elms (Grad, F) - The grad student had 16 points and eight rebounds while shooting 44.4% (8-18 FG) in a 64-60 win over USJ.
Loredana D'Agostino, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Sr, F - Board Brook, Conn.) - D'Agostino nearly averaged a double-double in a 2-0 week for Emmanuel, averaging 10.0 points and 9.0 rebounds in a pair of conference victories. She posted a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds in a 72-60 victory over Albertus and on the week combined to shoot 62.5% from the field while adding seven assists, one steal and a block.
Jordan Ouellette, St. Joseph (Conn.) (So., G/F - Bristol, Conn.) - Ouellette led the Blue Jays to a 1-1 GNAC week, averaging 15.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 43.8% from the field. In a 64-60 setback on the road to Elms Wednesday, Ouellette turned in a 14-point (6-18 FG), seven-rebound game in 21 minutes of action against the Blazers before bouncing back with a 17-point (8-14 FG), nine-rebound effort in 29 minutes in big 65-46 victory at home versus Colby-Sawyer on Saturday.
Cassandra Stapelfeld, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Sr., G - Brookline, N.H.) - Stapelfeld scored 18 points with four assists and three rebounds in a seesaw 73-72 loss to Bates College on January 11.
