Emerson Captures 2008-2009 Women's GNAC Commissioner's Cup

Emerson College captures the 2008-2009 Women’s Great Northeast Athletic Conference Commissioner’s Cup. The Lions secured the Commissioner’s Cup by earning two championships this spring in softball and lacrosse, earning five points each. The women’s teams collected a total of 25 points in the standings.

The women’s basketball earned four points towards the Commissioner’s Cup with their second place finish in the GNAC tournament. The cross-country, tennis, and volleyball all placed in the top four for their respective sports and earned three points each, while the soccer team added another two points.
