GNAC Weekly Honors for January 5, 2009
Emmanuel College swept the men's and women's GNAC basketball players of the week for the week ending on January 5, 2009. Men's basketball senior Mack Spellman (Clinton, NY) was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Northwood Classic in West Palm Beach after averaging 20 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists. Women's basketball junior Iman Davis (Toms River, NJ) became the 19th player in program history to surpass the 1,000-point milestone, as she poured in 25 points in a loss to Northwood University on 1/3/09. Davis also dropped 23 points in an 84-72 win over Johnson & Wales University-Miami.

The senior forward was named to the All-Tournament Team at the
Northwood Classic in West Palm Beach after averaging 20 points, 8.5
rebounds, and 3.5 assists. Spellman hit 12-28 (42.8%) shots
from the field and 7-17 (41.2%) from behind the arc, as the Saints

Marie Girard scored seven points against Bates, tallied
