GNAC Weekly Honors for November 17, 2008

Simmons junior swimmer Caitlin Urciuoli (Wethersfield, CT) was named GNAC Swimmer of the Week. Saint Joseph's (ME) freshmen swimmer Hannah Gajewski was named GNAC Rookie Swimmer of the Week.

Swimmer of the Week

Caitlin Urciuoli (Junior) - Simmons - Wethersfield, CT

Caitlin Urciouli had a great meet at the Regis Invite for Simmons. She finished 3rd in the 200 Free, 4th in the 100 Fly and 7th in the 500 Free, all with season-best times.  She also led off the 200 Freestyle relay that finished 4th place.

 

Rookie of the Week

Hannah Gajewski (Freshmen) - Saint Joseph's (ME) - Biddeford, ME

Gajewski earned 33 points with individual first place finishes in the 800 free (10:33.02), 100 breast
(1:26.00) and a top finish as a member of the winning 200 free relay team (2:03.57).
