Tricia Culver (Lasell), Katie Bachinski (Rivier), and Monica White (Rivier) have earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference's Softball Weekly Honors.

Culver had a great opening day in Ft. Myers, Florida, with 3 hits, including a double, a home run, and 2 RBI's. Culver's homerun came in her first at-bat, but the Lasers fell to Fredonia State, 11-5, on March 14. Culver had 1 hit, 1 walk, and 1 stolen base in an 8-0 loss in 6 innings to U. Wisconsin-Platteville. The Lasers are now 0-2 after one day of play and will play 8 spring training games this week before heading north to face Pine Manor on March 24.

The Raiders finished their 7-game spring training trip with a 6-1 record and start the regular season on March 20 against Simmons.

White started this season a perfect 5-0, including hurling a no-hitter while striking out a season-best 16 batters in a 3-1 victory against Thomas on March 11. White is averaging nearly 2 strikeouts per inning with 72 strikeouts in 37.1 innings pitched, and has only given up 3 earned runs on 14 hits. She is also a perfect 3 for 3 in stolen bases and currently has a .318 batting average. The Raiders finished their 7-game spring training trip with a 6-1 record and start the regular season on March 20 against Simmons.
