Suffolk Athletics Host Breakfast with Santa

On Friday morning, December 11, the Suffolk University Athletic Department hosted their annual “Breakfast with Santa.”Children from the Chinatown YMCA were invited over to Suffolk’s Regan Gymnasium for the morning as they had a chance to spend the morning with Suffolk’s student-athletes and also meet Santa Claus. The event was run by the Suffolk University Student-Athletic Advisory Council (SAAC).

Each year Suffolk’s SAAC invites sixty youngsters over spend the morning. The children were served breakfast that was prepared by the coaches and served by the athletes and had a chance to take part in activities that included face painting and arts and crafts. Breakfast included waffles, fruits and juices. Each child also had a chance to meet Santa Claus and tell him what was on their wish list this year. All of the children received a gift, courtesy of the Suffolk University Athletic Department.
