GNAC Women's Cross-Country Weekly Honors: October 11, 2010

Danielle Cusack (St. Joe’s) and Laura Furaro (JWU) have earned GNAC Women's Cross-Country weekly honors.

RUNNER OF THE WEEK

Laura Furfaro, Johnson & Wales, So., North Warren, NJ

Johnson & Wales’ sophomore Laura Furfaro ran at the Runnin’ Monks Invitational and finished with a time of 21:28 giving her a fourth place finish. Furfaro helped her team tie for a second place finish at the seven team invitational.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Danielle Cusack, St. Joe’s ME, So., Portland, ME

The Monks’ rookie Danielle Cusack helped lead St. Joe’s to a runner-up finish in the 8th Annual Runnin' Monks Invitational on October 9th. Although a sophomore, Cusack is a first year runner who ran a time of 21:32 in the 5K earning her a 5^th place finish. Cusack has led the Monks’ for the fifth consecutive meet.
