Lasell Claims GNAC Women’s Soccer Regular-Season Crown
After a 10-0-1 league record, Lasell has once again captured the GNAC Women’s Soccer regular-season title.

WINTHROP, Mass. – After a 10-0-1 league record, Lasell College has once again captured the GNAC Women's Soccer regular-season title and top seed in the conference tournament. A tie at Johnson & Wales University, which earned the No. 2 seed, back on October 3 was the only imperfection by the Lasers this spring.
In the GNAC Tournament Quarterfinals on Saturday, October 31, Lasell will host eighth-seeded Rivier University at 1:00 p.m., while second-seeded JWU will welcome seventh-seeded Saint Joseph's College of Maine, also at 1:00 p.m.
In other quarterfinal action, fifth-seeded University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) will travel to fourth-seeded Simmons College (12:00 p.m.) next Saturday and third-seeded Emmanuel College will host sixth-seeded Albertus Magnus College (1:00 p.m.).
The semifinals are schedule for Tuesday, November 3, with the highest remaining seed hosting the GNAC Championship contest on Saturday, November 7.
Founded in 1995, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) is an NCAA Division III association made up of 12 member institutions, 12 associate member institutions, and over 3,000 student-athletes across the New England region. Each year, the GNAC sponsors and administers 17 championships, while balancing academic integrity, athletic opportunities and community involvement.
