GNAC Women's Basketball Report: Week 13
For the fourth time this season, Rivier first-year guard Lyric Grumblatt has won GNAC Player & Rookie of the Week honors.

PLAYER / ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Lyric Grumblatt, Rivier (So., G - Manchester, NH) - Grumblatt averaged 37.5 points on 54.2% shooting (26-48 FG, 5-16 3PT, 18-19 FT) to go with 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 4.0 steals as the Raiders went 3-0 last week, winning their seventh straight and capturing the No. 6 seed in the GNAC Tornament. The first-year had 31 points, nine boards and six assists in a 64-44 win at Norwich before registering 44 points, 10 boards and seven steals in an 83-59 win over JWU. Committing just three turnovers on the week, Grumblatt also broke Rivier's single-season scoring (635) record.

HONOR ROLL
Megan Molettieri, Colby-Sawyer (Fr, G - Pelham, N.H.) - Molettieri continued to shine for Colby-Sawyer averaging 15.5 points and a pair of rebounds per game, while only averaging 23 minutes per game. Molettieri was really efficient shooting 50% from the field and 50% from long range. Molettieri was the leading scorer in both games and before leaving the Anna Maria game due to injury was red hot from deep knocking down 4-6 from behind the arc.
Angelica Peguero-Flores, Elms (Grad, F) - In a 3-0 week as Elms solidified the No. 7 seed in the GNAC Tournament, Peguero-Flores averaged a ridiclous 24.3 points and 13.0 rebounds for the Blazers. Shooting 52.3% (34-65) overall from the floor, she had 26 points and nine boards against Mount Holyoke, 21 points and 13 caroms against Dean, followed by a monster 26-point, 17-rebound double-double against Anna Maria.
Pam Gonzalez, Regis (Mass.) (Jr., G - Revere, Mass.) - Gonzalez led Regis to a perfect 3-0 week and the No. 4 seed in the upcoming GNAC Tournament, averaging 18.3 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals. Tuesday against Lasell, she finished with 15 points, nine rebounds, and five steals as the Pride forced 20 Laser turnovers. Thursday against Norwich, Gonzalez collected 18 points, nine rebounds, and three assists. Saturday at Colby-Sawyer, she shot 8-for-17 from the field and a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line for 22 points, her sixth game with 20 or more points this season. She also earned six rebounds, two assists, and three steals against the Chargers. For the season, Gonzalez is now fourth in the GNAC in scoring (16.9 ppg), fifth in three-point field goal percentage (36.5%), sixth in rebounding (8.8 rpg), seventh in field goal percentage (45.9%), and eighth in steals per game (2.3 spg).
Jelly Frigo, St. Joseph (Conn.) (So., G - Canton, Conn.) - Frigo averaged 16.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals in a 2-0 week, as USK locked up the No. 5 seed in the GNAC Tournament.
Cassandra Stapelfeld, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Sr.,, G) - Stapelfeld averaged 16.5 points and 4.5 rebounds while shooting an impressive 57.9% (11-19 FG, 8-14 3PT, 3-3 FT) in a 2-0 week, as the Monks claimed the No. 3 seed in this week's GNAC Tournament.
